What a moment for Bournemouth, first time in their history and now theyve got European football next season. That is some rise when you think where the club has been and how much work has gone into getting them here

Iraola has got a lot of love in this thread and fair enough, the job he and the staff have done looks proper special. Even with players missing or moving on, Bournemouth have somehow kept pushing and made it happen

Feels like one of those stories that reminds you why football is mental sometimes. Fans, manager, whole club, all of it deserves a bit of praise today and probably a pint or three tonight
 
Not many teams can lose key players and still keep the level this high, but Bournemouth have found a way to stay aggressive and brave in and out of possession, they press well, they do not panic when the ball moves wide, and that has carried them into Europe
 
bournemouth fans must be pinching themselves after all that time in the lower leagues and nearly going bust now theyre off to europe its actually mad how far theyve come and iraola deserves a huge amount of credit for keeping them organised and fearless
 
brooks missing that chance is going to haunt people all summer isnt it every thread is already acting like the whole continent was there for the taking as if football works on might have been and not actual results lol
 
People keep saying this is some tiny club story like it just happened by magic but that is exactly the point it did not happen by magic it happened because the club has clearly been built properly and the manager has got them playing with belief and intensity and the fans have gone with it and every single time people wrote them off they just kept showing up and now they are in Europe and everyone is acting shocked like this wasnt coming for weeks, they have been good enough for ages and the amount of rubbish talk about them being lucky or overachieving is just nonsense because you dont beat big sides and stay consistent by accident you do it by being well coached and brave and together and that is what Bournemouth have been and anyone trying to downplay it is just salty
 
I get the hype but saying they could have been in the Champions League is a bit much, theyve had a great season and thats the story, not every missed chance turns into some alternate universe title race fantasy
 
Bournemouth and AFC in the same thread is doing numbers for the badge merchants ngl, proper little club with proper little dream and now theyre off abroad while half the league is busy arguing about who bottled top four again
 
It is a deserved reward for a very well-run season. Their structure has held up even when the squad changed, which says a lot about the coaching.
