Junior Kroupi breaks PL teenager record

bournemouth keep pulling random names out the hat and somehow it keeps working and now everyones acting shocked like they didnt see this coming from miles away, the kid scores against city and suddenly half the league is in love with him, proper madness really

Bournemouth deserve a lot of credit here. They have clearly created a setup where young attacking players can settle quickly and contribute. That is not luck, that is planning, and it is exactly why people keep talking about their recruitment.

i wasnt even watching live and still got hyped when i saw the notification because a teenager breaking a premier league record is just one of those things that makes you stop for a second and think wow football is ridiculous sometimes

I am going to say it straight, if people start turning this into a whole debate about one player being the answer to every club's problems then they are missing the point completely because the lad has done something special and then the internet will immediately try to bury him under expectation, which is exactly what happens every time a young attacker gets a bit of shine, and if he ends up at a bigger club later then everyone will pretend they discovered him first and if he does not then the same people will call him overrated, it is always the same cycle and it is exhausting and frankly some of the talk around him already feels like people are just waiting to tear him down

The record is notable, but the bigger takeaway is Bournemouth’s ability to identify and use young talent well. That is what makes this story stand out.
