⚽ France vs Northern Ireland
✅ France AH -2.5 @1.80

going aggressive for this step. france are one of the world cup favourites and they will be looking to make a statement after the embarrassing 2-1 loss to ivory coast in their first warm up. that kind of defeat usually triggers a big response from a side this loaded, especially at home in lille where they are unbeaten in their last five (four wins, one draw).

their attacking output is the key angle here. france had scored 2+ goals in 11 successive games before the ivory coast slip up, and they have hit 3+ goals in seven of their last 13 friendlies. eight of their last games also went over 2.5 total goals, so the firepower is there to win this by a wide margin.

northern ireland fielded their youngest side since world war 2 last time out with an average age of 22.1, and they have lost their last three matches against top ten uefa nations by a combined 9-2. against a france team in full motivated mode and chasing rhythm before the tournament, a three plus goal margin is on the table. at 1.80 the handicap is the smart angle for this step.

⚽ Saudi Arabia vs Senegal
✅ Saudi Arabia or Draw @2.58

going aggressive for this step. saudi arabia come into this off the back of a 3-0 win over puerto rico that snapped a four game losing run, and they need a strong showing in their final warm up before the world cup. that kind of context usually means they show up motivated and focused.

senegal are the stronger side on paper but they are not in the best place either. they just blew a 2-0 lead against the usa to lose 3-2, which was their first defeat in ten matches. that kind of result can leave a hangover, especially in a friendly setting where the intensity is lower.

head to head is also interesting. saudi arabia have actually beaten senegal in both previous meetings, 3-2 on each occasion, so the saudi side has psychological history on their side. with mandash in form having scored in his last four for club and country, this is exactly the kind of value spot worth backing on the double chance. at 2.58 the price is nice for the underdog cover.

WEDNESDAY June 10 2026

⚽ England vs Costa Rica
✅ BTTS No @1.54

going with the numbers here. england's last five matches all produced under 2.5 goals, and only one of their last nine games saw both teams score. that is a really consistent pattern under tuchel, who has the defence locked in even when the attack is misfiring.

costa rica have not scored against england in either of their two previous meetings, and they haven't beaten any european team since 2020. their attacking output has also been poor lately, losing three of their last five and getting their three losses in that stretch against world cup bound sides who all kept them quiet.

with england tightening up for the tournament and tuchel almost certainly fielding a strong defensive shape, costa rica are unlikely to find the net here. the home side will create plenty but the pattern suggests a clean sheet performance. at 1.54 btts no is a smart step for the ladder.

see y'all tomorrow for the next step.

THURSDAY June 11 2026

⚽ Mexico vs South Africa
✅ Over 2.5 Goals @2.15

going for the value spot here. mexico's home games have averaged 2.25 total goals across their last ten and south africa's matches sit at 2.57 in their home fixtures. when both profiles run that close to the line, even a small push of intensity gets the over home.

the scoring rates also make sense. mexico are putting up 1.6 goals per match in their recent run and south africa are at 1.4, which combines to roughly three goals per game. that is exactly where you want the line at 2.5.

mexico will be at home and they have no reason to play this one cagey, while south africa bring their own attacking intent that should keep things open. with two teams capable of finding the net and the underlying numbers backing the over, 2.15 is a nice price for this step.

see y'all tomorrow for the next step.

FRIDAY June 12 2026

⚽ USA vs Paraguay
✅ Omar Alderete to have 1+ Shots @1.92

going with a nice value spot here. alderete has just come off a strong season with sunderland, putting up 24 shots across 32 starts at 0.77 per 90, with an even better 1.15 per 90 in the season before that. those numbers are excellent for a centre back and show that getting forward is part of his game.

at international level the trend holds up too. he managed 11 shots across 14 starts for paraguay during qualifying at 0.82 per 90 and scored twice in that run. in the last copa america he took three shots in three starts including a goal from outside the box against brazil, so he is not afraid to pull the trigger when he advances.

set pieces are also the angle here. paraguay scored 28 percent of their goals during qualifying from set pieces and pochettino has admitted in the past that defending set pieces is a weak spot for his sides. with enciso missing the opener, alderete becomes an even bigger threat from those situations. at 1.92 the price is nice for a player this consistent on shots.

SATURDAY June 13 2026

⚽ Qatar vs Switzerland
✅ Over 2.5 Goals @1.66

going with the numbers here. switzerland's matches have averaged 3.0 total goals across their last ten, which is a solid baseline for backing the over. recent scorelines like 4-1 and 3-4 show their games are wide open with plenty of action at both ends.

qatar's home games are averaging 2.43 total goals this campaign, sitting just under the line on their own, but they have shown they will play with intent on home soil. when you add switzerland's attacking output and the swiss defensive cracks, the total usually pushes higher.

with one side that consistently produces goals on both ends and the other capable of contributing at home, three goals across 90 feels very live. at 1.66 the over is the cleanest spot for this step.

SUNDAY June 14 2026
⚽ Netherlands vs Japan
✅ BTTS Yes @1.76

going with the numbers for the weekend close. netherlands matches see both teams score in 60 percent of cases overall and 66.67 percent in their away games. that is a strong pattern that holds up especially in a one off opener where both sides will go for it.

japan have scored in all five of their recent matches with 1-0, 1-0, 1-0, 3-0 and 2-0 results. that consistent scoring profile tells you they always find the net, even against tighter opponents.

oranje have also scored in four of their last five games, so the firepower is clearly there. with depay, gakpo and reijnders providing quality going forward, and koeman's side coming in motivated to start the tournament strong, both ends should see action. at 1.76 btts yes is a clean read for the closing step.

see y'all monday for the next step.
