mixed weekend on the ladder. arsenal opened it right, 3-0 over coventry with havertz, saka and odegaard all on the sheet before half time, over 2.5 cashed clean and early. saturday fell apart though, tottenham showed up at brentford and did absolutely nothing, 3-0 the other way and spurs never looked like scoring so btts never had a chance. sunday hurt even more, newcastle controlled most of that game and liverpool needed szoboszlai to bail them out with a penalty in the 96th minute just to draw, so the win never landed either. two reads went wrong for reasons outside the analysis, spurs just no showed and liverpool got lucky to survive. we move on with the numbers.

good bounce back yesterday. we keep the same energy and stay with the numbers. betis snatched it late at mestalla, 0-1, back to back 1-0 starts to the season for them and the draw no bet covered it clean. clean step on the ladder.

this one is properly alive going into the second leg, 1-1 from istanbul with openda's away goal for lyon and greenwood's equalizer keeping fenerbahce's hopes going. fenerbahce only have one path here, they have to attack from the first whistle since a draw sends them out on away goals momentum and general away form working against them.

lyon are not the type to sit on a narrow tie either, fonseca has already said he wants his team on the front foot rather than protecting anything, and a home crowd at groupama expecting a statement performance usually gets goals out of a team that has this much to play for.

two sides that both need to score, one out of pure necessity and one out of identity, is exactly the setup that makes both teams to score the right read here. at 1.86 this is a nice value spot for a tie that already produced goals for both sides once and looks built to do it again.

craiova travel to yerevan with the tie level at 1-1 after bancu cancelled out malis's opener back in romania, so this one is a straight knockout now, whoever wants it more over 90 mins goes through.

theres been some noise around the craiova camp this week, reports of internal friction and a key defender missing out for the second leg, so this is not a clean bill of health going into a decisive european night. but ararat-armenia are not exactly overwhelming favourites either, market still has craiova as the more likely side to get the job done away from home.

this is the more agressive play given the noise around the group, but the underlying quality gap still favours the romanian champions, and a team fighting through some internal mess on the road for a spot in the league phase usually finds a extra gear when it matters most. at 2.10 this is worth the step.
