AC Horsens vs OB Odense Best odds and tips

OB Odense have won eight, drawn four and lost only two of their 14 away games in the 1st Division 2024-2025, so they should be very competitive when they visit AC Horsens on Friday. Soeren Krogh has done a brilliant job since taking over as head coach in November 2023 and masterminded OB’s rise to the top of the table with some superb attacking football. OB’s away form over their last two away league trips is one win and one defeat, but they have been in a bit of a rut with two consecutive 1-1 home draws, so there is a little bit of a question mark over their killer instinct at the moment. Max Fenger’s clever play and off-the-ball movement has given OB an extra dimension in the attacking third over the past few weeks, but Luca Kjerrumgaard remains their main goal threat. The 19-year-old is likely to get his chance in the first team next season when OB will be playing in the Superliga.

David Nielsen took over at Horsens in March 2025 and has brought some structure and intensity back to a squad that was drifting when he took over. They have won two and lost three of their last five league games, so it is hard to predict their mood for this one, but their home form has been a little better with one win and one defeat in their last two. Mads Juel Andersen has been a solid rock at the back for Horsens and has marshalled his defence well, but they will struggle to keep OB out. Horsens have failed to take three points in their last home game against OB, but the last meeting in the 1st Division 2024/2025 saw OB Odense win 3-2 at home, so we could be in for another exciting game. Emil Frederiksen is Horsens’ leading goal scorer this season with three in seven, but he is not a prolific marksman and they need more of a spark in the attacking third. OB are a better away team and have the superior goal power, so we will take them at 1.99 to win the match, although Horsens’ home form and the fact that OB are already promoted to the Superliga means they may rotate their squad for this one.
