With Nice in red-hot form and chasing a Champions League spot and Rennes fighting to finish in the top half, there’s a lot to play for in the final weeks of the Ligue 1 season. The hosts, who have won eight of their 16 home games but also suffered seven defeats, will be hoping to take advantage of Nice's failure to win on their last two away trips to Rennes. Nice have had a similar record on their travels, winning six, drawing five and losing five of their 16 away games, but they are the team in form and have the momentum to push for a victory here. Franck Haise has sharpened Nice’s tactical identity since taking over on July 1, 2024, and his 3-4-2-1 system is both balanced and full of attacking verve.
