- Sevilla have won two of their last three meetings with Las Palmas, drawing the other 2-2 away from home.
- Sevilla are unbeaten in two home games (2 draws), while Las Palmas have won one and lost one of their last two away.
Sevilla FC are 1.83 favourites to beat Las Palmas, who are 4.50 to spring a surprise and 3.65 to draw at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Tuesday in a La Liga 2024-2025 relegation six-pointer. The visitors have had a mixed bag of results in their last five league games, winning two and losing three, but they come into this clash on the back of three straight defeats. The Gran Canaria-based side lost 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao last weekend and have suffered back-to-back home defeats in their previous two matches. Sevilla are also struggling for form, having failed to win any of their last five La Liga matches (D2, L3). They drew 2-2 at home to Leganes last weekend and were beaten 3-2 at Celta Vigo before that.
Joaquin Caparros has been in charge of Sevilla since April 2025 and his 4-4-2 system, which has been very balanced in terms of having enough players to defend and attack, has late-game pressing as its signature. His side will try to control this game, but Diego Martinez’s Las Palmas will be very compact and ready to counter-attack. They have been battling relegation since Martinez took over in October 2024 and his pragmatic approach has been ideal for the task. The two clubs are very evenly matched, which is reflected in the table with Sevilla having 38 points from 35 games in 16th place and Las Palmas on 32 in 19th after the same number of matches.
Sevilla have the home advantage and have never lost to Las Palmas in their previous three meetings between the clubs, so they are taken to win this high-stakes relegation battle. Both teams are desperate for the points and neither has been particularly solid at the back of late, so there is some merit in backing both teams to score in the game. Dodi Lukebakio has been Sevilla’s main man in La Liga 2024/2025 with 11 goals, but Kike Salas has stepped up recently with two of his side’s last five goals. Fabio Silva is Las Palmas’ main man with ten goals in 24 La Liga appearances this season and two of his side’s last six goals.
