Los Angeles FC and Seattle Sounders are two of the most interesting teams to watch in the USA MLS 2025 season and their contrasting styles of play make for a gripping contest that has all the ingredients to be a classic. LAFC have played a high-tempo, pressing game under Steven Cherundolo since he took over as head coach in January 2022. He has implemented a style of play that sees his team press high up the pitch and attack with full-backs and midfielders moving forward. The 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 formations are usually employed to flood the box with numbers and get bodies behind the ball quickly. Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, have been playing a more structured, balanced game under Brian Schmetzer since he took over in 2016. Albert Rusnak has five goals in 11 MLS appearances for the Sounders, providing a consistent threat in the middle of the park. The odds on LAFC are too good to ignore at 2.10 for the win, although the draw at 3.75 and Seattle at 2.92 are both overpriced.
