Julian Alvarez liking that post on TikTok has just added another layer to an already ridiculous saga. At this point it feels like everyone involved knows exactly where this is headed, but they are all still doing the dance anyway.

The weirdest bit is how public it has all become. Likes, stories, speculation, fanbases arguing over whether he should be wanted at all, and a window that is apparently only a week away from shutting. It is hard to tell who looks worse here: the player, his camp, or the clubs caught in the middle.

At this point I just do not get why he is doing all this in public. If you want a move, fine, players want out all the time and that is football, but liking posts and having the agent do little social media games just makes everyone look stupid. It puts clubs off, it annoys fans, and it turns a normal transfer into a circus. He is not helping his case at all and if anything he is making people think twice about whether he is worth the hassle. Proper weird behaviour and the longer it drags on the more embarrassing it gets honestly
