Argentina FA under FBI investigation

I am not having this idea that people should just shrug at it because football is always messy, if there is anything behind these reports then certain people at the top of the Argentine FA need to be named and made to answer for it because the way some of these administrators operate is beyond a joke, they hide behind the badge, hide behind tradition, hide behind the noise of the game and act untouchable while everyone else is expected to swallow the nonsense, and honestly that is why fans get so angry about this stuff, because it is not just about one headline it is about years of the same type of behaviour and the same type of people treating football like their private toy and I am absolutely sick of hearing excuses for these suits who never seem to face any real consequences
 
The main thing here is that the allegation itself will do damage whether or not anything comes of it, because reputational hits in football are hard to shake. But I also think people will overreact in both directions, with some calling it all a cover-up before any facts are out and others pretending it is just a bit of banter, when really it should be taken seriously and handled properly
 
I know people love a laugh when a football institution gets dragged into something like this, but I do not think it is fair to turn it into a joke about the whole country or the whole game, because the fans are not the ones causing this mess and they are usually the ones left defending a badge they had nothing to do with running, and if the Argentine FA are under investigation then that should be directed at the people in charge, not used as an excuse to sneer at every supporter who has spent years putting up with the same old nonsense, the same stale leadership, the same lack of accountability and the same endless cycle of people at the top acting like they are above criticism while everyone else gets told to move on, so yeah if there is wrongdoing then punish the wrongdoers, but do not pretend the people who care about the team deserve any of the blame
