Arsenal and Como are level after Martin Baturina’s equaliser on 43 minutes, and that has properly changed the mood of the game. Up to that point it looked like Arsenal had things under control, but now it feels a lot more open and a bit more nervy.

For Como, that is a huge moment and exactly the sort of thing that keeps a side alive in a match like this. For Arsenal, it is the kind of goal that makes you wonder whether they’ve switched off a touch, because once the equaliser goes in the whole rhythm changes.

Plenty left to play for, but this has already got a bit of bite to it. If nothing else, Baturina has given the thread something to shout about.
 
Arsenal need to tighten up between the lines here because Como are finding too much space for a side that should be sitting deeper. Once the equaliser comes, the next ten minutes are all about control and not panic.
 
not even surprised tbh arsenal always seem to make it a bit hairy when they should be cruising and now the whole thing feels like one of those annoying nights where you just sit there staring at the screen
 
Arsenal have let Como grow into it a bit too much, and that is usually when these games get awkward. Baturina is the kind of player who punishes half a yard of space, imo
 
Arsenal fans were acting like this was already done and dusted and now its suddenly all hands on deck because Como have remembered theyre allowed to attack as well absolutely priceless
 
Arsenal had the control early on and then one lapse completely changes the mood, which is exactly why people keep saying game management matters. You can see the confidence drain a little when the equaliser goes in, because suddenly every pass feels a bit slower and every decision looks heavier. Como have clearly taken the hint that there is space to work with, and Baturina has punished them properly. This is the sort of thing that turns a comfortable night into a proper scrap and if Arsenal dont sort the distances out they are going to make a right mess of it mate honestly this is so annoying
 
How is that allowed to stand honestly the officials are just making it up as they go along in these games every little contact gets waved on for one side and then the next thing you know the other lot are getting nothing back and the whole match gets dragged into chaos, its infuriating because Arsenal should be able to deal with it but the ref just lets the tempo get broken over and over again and then suddenly Como get a goal and everyone acts shocked when the game has been allowed to become a mess in the first place
 
People will blame the shape or the system but Arsenal have got one lad in particular who keeps switching off and it is killing the whole side, every time the ball breaks he is half a step behind and every time the pressure comes he looks like he wants someone else to do the dirty work, you cannot keep carrying that in a game where the margins are this tight and expect nothing to happen, it is maddening to watch because the warning signs are there and he just keeps drifting through it like it does not matter
 
The issue there is not just the goal itself, it is the way Arsenal have allowed the game to lose structure. When you are ahead or in control, you have to keep the distances tight and stop the opposition from turning cleanly, and instead Como have been given a bit too much freedom to play forward. That said, one equaliser does not mean the whole performance has collapsed, but if Arsenal do not react properly then this can spiral very quickly and that is on them more than anything because they have the quality to shut it down and right now they are just inviting pressure and looking far too casual about it
