Arsenal crowned champions and the Emirates is going mental

Honestly if you are a football fan and you are not at least a little bit moved by this then I dont know what to tell you because this is what people mean when they talk about atmosphere and history and all that stuff, the Emirates is absolutely buzzing, the fans are losing their minds, and yes I know rival fans will say they are over celebrating but after that wait you would be doing the exact same thing, and anyone pretending otherwise is just talking bollocks

I was in the pub when the final whistle went and the whole place just exploded even though half the room were pretending they didnt care, mate who supports Spurs dropped his pint and just stared at the screen like he had seen a ghost, then some Arsenal lad by the darts board started singing and the rest of them joined in even the neutrals because you cant really fight that sort of moment when it happens in real time, football is stupid and brilliant like that and nights like this are why we keep showing up even when the game winds us all up

Arsenal have clearly found a way to turn pressure into momentum, which is something a lot of teams struggle with. The size of the celebration makes sense when you factor in the wait and the expectation around the club imo

There is a real sense that Arsenal have finally turned a corner here. The reaction outside the stadium is not just about one night, it is about years of frustration being released at once. That is why it looks so loud and so emotional.

not even an arsenal fan and i can see why theyre losing it, after that wait the scenes are massive and the rest of the league can cry about it if they want, footballs better when proper clubs get a moment like this
