nah i dont buy the idea that this is just a legacy award because arsenal actually won the league and that matters more than vibes, le bris had a great season but arteta finishing the job after all that pressure is a bigger achievement for me

People will say it is harsh to pile on one player but honestly the whole thing still comes back to Arteta because he is the face of it all and when it goes right he gets praised and when it goes wrong he gets dragged, so fair enough, but lets not pretend this was some miracle from nowhere because the squad has been built for years and he has had every tool he could want and still there were spells where they looked nervy and overcomplicated and you could see him on the touchline absolutely losing his head, which is why I dont know why anyone is shocked when the debate gets heated because he has made himself the centre of everything and now he has to live with people saying he was either genius or lucky and there is no middle ground with him ever
