Barca will regret letting Rashford go

The officiating of this whole debate is the real joke because every time someone mentions the fee the conversation gets completely hijacked by people pretending the wages are the only thing that matters and then the next group comes in and says its all about the system and the role and you end up with a thread where nobody is actually answering the headline properly and it feels like the same old nonsense where the loudest voices get to decide what the argument is about and everybody else just shouts over them until the original point is completely lost

Barca fans are doing that thing where the minute a player has a decent spell everyone starts calling him indispensable and then a week later its all about the salary cap and the system and the board and whatever else they can throw in to justify it, proper classic behaviour really

The debate is really about total cost, not just the transfer fee. If Barcelona do not see him as a clear tactical fit, then walking away makes sense.

people are acting like barca can just ignore the wages and call it a bargain but thats not how it works when youre already counting every penny and the club clearly thinks hes more of a short term option than a proper long term fit

Funny how every time a player does well suddenly hes the missing piece and every time a club says no everyone starts pretending its some giant mistake like theyve got the whole football world figured out from a comment section

Barcelona probably like the idea of the fee, but if the wages are too high and the fit is not ideal then it makes sense to walk away, especially with a squad that needs careful balancing and not just another expensive name imo

Nah I think youre overrating the bargain angle because the wages and role matter more than the headline fee
