not gonna lie i’m actually made up for him because these are the sort of moves where a player can finally get the right platform and everyone starts taking him seriously and if he starts well it could be a proper career changer, just hope the pressure doesnt get stupid because fans love a bit of banter until they expect miracles
 
I think this is a really smart move on paper and he should get a fair shot there. Betis look like a club where he can settle and actually play his game, but football fans are already turning it into a circus and that is exactly why these threads become unbearable because nobody can just say good luck and move on, it has to be the same bird jokes the same repeat comments the same nonsense and then if he scores everyone will suddenly act like they backed him from day one, honestly just let the lad play and see what happens for once
 
Betis probably like the profile because he gives them something direct and different up top. If he settles quickly this could age very well, but there is still a lot to prove imo
 
looks like a decent move tbh if he gets used right and not just left up there on his own all game because that would be pointless and then everyone will start with the same old jokes again and act like they knew it was doomed from day one
