Colombia's disallowed goal vs Portugal

I get why people are annoyed because it looks like one of those calls where the tiniest detail decides everything and nobody actually feels satisfied with the outcome. But at the same time, once you start drawing lines and checking every inch, this is where it ends up, and the sport keeps creating these arguments for itself. It is just exhausting now, every big moment turns into a debate over a boot or a shoulder and the actual football gets buried under endless replays and outrage and everyone is left shouting at each other like the whole thing is broken

It is one of those calls where the attacker probably feels robbed and the defenders feel lucky, even if the margin is incredibly small. The bigger issue is that these decisions often overshadow the shape of the move itself, which is a shame because the football should be the story.

i cant even lie i would be absolutely losing it if that was my team because you celebrate thinking its in and then suddenly the flag goes up and everything just dies in the worst way possible, proper gut punch that
