DBU call for Infantino to go

The Danish FA board has come out unanimously and said Infantino must go, which is pretty bold and honestly pretty refreshing. In a football world where most people sit on the fence, that is a proper statement.

It also feels like one of those rare moments where fans across the game can actually agree on something. Whether anything changes is another matter, but at least somebody has said it out loud.

Fair play to the Danes for not just rolling over. If more boards had a bit of that backbone, football might be in a less ridiculous state.
 
Fair play to them, that is a proper statement and it actually means something coming from a board. Whether Infantino listens is another matter, but at least they have not sat on their hands. Good to see some backbone for once.
 
Not even trying to be dramatic but this is exactly why people are fed up with football governance now because you get these suits acting like they are untouchable until enough people finally say enough is enough and then suddenly everyone acts shocked that the DBU board had the nerve to speak up like it is some huge thing when really it should be the bare minimum and honestly the whole Infantino circus has been a joke for ages and every new bit of news just makes him look more like a bloke who thought he was above the game and now he is getting called out properly and i hope loads more follow because this cant just be one board making noise and then everyone else going quiet again
 
Not sure why people are acting like this is some miracle move when it is just the bare minimum from a board that should have said this ages ago and if anything the bigger issue is how long everyone else has let this drag on without saying anything proper so yeah nice one to Denmark but lets not pretend they have suddenly saved football or anything
 
People love to pile on when somebody is already getting dragged but let us not act like Infantino suddenly turned into this disaster on his own and everyone else was innocent because the whole structure around him has been rotten for ages and most of these big football bodies have happily gone along with it until it became convenient to act brave now the DBU board have at least said something and fair enough to them for that because it takes a bit of guts to be that public when loads of others are still hiding behind safe wording and fake concern and honestly the man at the centre of it has had far too much room to make himself look important for too long so if this starts a proper chain reaction then good because football has needed someone to say enough is enough for years and years and if a unanimous board statement is what starts it then brilliant, let it roll
