Had a laugh at this because it reminds me of being in the pub with a mate who follows football politics way too closely and every time some board or committee says something bold he goes full lecturer mode explaining why it matters and half the room is just trying to watch the telly and drink in peace but even he would admit this one has a bit of spice to it because it is not often you get a unanimous line like that and it sounds like someone finally kicked the door in instead of politely knocking and waiting around like mugs and i remember one night after a game he was going on about how these people always protect the same faces and by the end of the pint he had basically convinced everyone at the table that the whole thing is a farce and honestly this feels like one of those nights again where the opinion in the room just turns into a collective yeah fair enough because enough is enough
