Proper scenes from Deportivo here. After eight years away, seeing the fans march to Riazor for a La Liga game again just feels like one of those moments football should always give you.

There is something special about clubs like Depor coming back into the picture. For a lot of people they are tied up with childhood memories, big European nights, and that old Super Depor feeling that made La Liga seem bigger.

Whether you support them or not, you have to love a proper football moment like this. Game is back, and for a lot of fans it really does feel like football is back too.
 
depor coming back just hits different doesnt it i know some people only remember them from old clips but for a lot of us they were part of the whole reason la liga felt massive back then and seeing the fans out like this is class
 
honestly this is the sort of thing that makes football worth it i wasnt even a depor fan growing up but seeing a club with that much history and those memories back where they belong is just brilliant proper feel good stuff
 
There is a real sense of occasion around this one, and that matters. Clubs like Deportivo carry a lot of history, so a return like this naturally means more than just another fixture on the calendar. It is good for the league and good for the fans.
 
I remember going to the pub with my old man when I was a kid and there was always that one bloke who would talk about Deportivo like they were the greatest side ever and at the time I thought he was just being dramatic but then you grow up and realise why people talk about clubs like this with so much love because they are tied to proper memories not just results and tables and all that nonsense and seeing fans march like this just takes me straight back to those days when football felt a bit more magical and every big club had a story and a soul and you could tell who mattered by the way people reacted when they came back into view
 
I think the reaction says a lot about what people actually miss when clubs like this disappear. It is not just the badge or the league position, it is the memory of watching them in big European nights and seeing names that felt huge at the time. Then it starts to drift and everyone acts like it was always meant to be this way, which is nonsense because football is better when these clubs are visible and loud and dragging old feelings back into the game and honestly it just makes me miss proper La Liga even more because this is what it should feel like, not just the same handful of sides every year, bloody hell I am getting emotional over a fan march now
 
some people really acting like depor just invented football because they marched to a stadium calm down mate its a nice moment but you lot are making it sound like the second coming of the game and thats a bit much isnt it
 
Seeing clubs like Depor back in the top flight is good for the league and for the fans who grew up with them. It gives the division a different feel and reminds people that football history does not start and end with the same few teams imo
