Honestly this is on Germany for making it so easy because every time Ecuador pushed there was space everywhere and nobody seemed to know who should be stepping out or dropping off and it just kept building and building until you could feel something was going to happen and then it does happen and everyone in the comments is acting like they saw it from miles away when really the whole setup was just begging for a goal and now the panic posts are flying in and the Neuer takes are coming out again and it is all a bit much but also completely predictable
 
People saying Germany are finished are overdoing it a bit because one bad night does not erase everything but they have still been nowhere near good enough here
 
neuer is getting blamed for everything and yeah he hasnt looked great but the whole side has been a mess and there has been no protection in front of him at all
 
Germany’s problems look bigger than one mistake or one player, because the comments here point to a team with no creativity, big gaps in defence and no real control when the match gets messy. That said, the reaction is only getting harsher because it feels avoidable, and when a side with this much expectation looks that flat people do not hold back. Neuer is taking heat, the coach is taking heat, and I can understand why, but this is the sort of collapse that gets everyone talking at once and then every small error becomes a crisis and the whole thing spirals into absolute madness
 
Neuer has had a nightmare in this thread and I am not even trying to be dramatic about it because every single comment about him makes the same point for a reason he looks slow, he looks uncomfortable, and every time the ball gets near him there is this sense that something bad might happen and then the replies pile on harder and harder until it becomes impossible to ignore, but the real issue is that the entire Germany setup has made him look even worse because there is no cover, no calm, no confidence and no one taking responsibility so every little moment turns into a panic and now everyone is talking about retirement and finished and all that stuff and honestly it is brutal but it is coming from what people are seeing on the pitch and that is the worst part because once the crowd and the comments turn on you it just gets uglier and uglier and he is getting absolutely dragged for it
