England 4-2 Croatia - Rashford seals it

All the lads in the group chat are pretending they called this but they were the same ones moaning when the lineup came out and now suddenly everyone is a genius because Rashford scored and Saka made it look easy honestly football fans are hilarious they only know two moods panicking and overhyping
 
The officials let this get messy from the start and once a game is allowed to turn into that sort of end to end chaos it is no surprise the defending goes to bits because nobody knows what is getting called and what is being ignored and then every little contact becomes a debate and every advantage gets played half a second too late and the whole thing turns into a circus and I am sick of watching referees lose control of matches like this because it ruins the rhythm for everyone and makes the result feel way more random than it should
 
The big takeaway for me is that England looked much more effective once they had runners attacking the space rather than waiting for things to happen in front of Croatia. The whole match opened up because the tempo increased and once that happened Croatia could not hold their lines, which is why the final stages looked so easy for England
