Europa League semi finals set as Villa face Forest and Braga meet Freiburg in wide open race

There is a strong argument that Villa should be favourites overall, but knockout tournaments rarely care about who 'should' win in April.
 
Freiburg should not be underestimated. Teams that arrive at this stage without giant external expectation can be very difficult to handle.
 
I do not buy the idea that Villa just walk through this. Forest have already made enough people look silly this season.

- Forest's bizarre season
- Braga ending Portugal's long wait for a semi
- Freiburg having a genuine shot at a first big trophy
 
Forest and Villa drawing each other also helps neutrals a bit. Better this than an all-English final, in my opinion.
 
Braga against Freiburg is tactically more interesting than some fans are admitting. There is less star power, but that does not mean less quality.
