From a football perspective people will obviously talk about Gavi the player and all the usual stuff around him but this is the sort of off pitch action that tells you a bit more about the person, and when you put 1.3 million euro into housing for homeless people in your own town that is not a token gesture at all, it is proper commitment, and if more players thought like that instead of just chasing the next flashy thing then the sport would look a lot better for it
