Harry Kane's post-match voice had the studio in bits

That post-match interview was absolutely unreal. Harry Kane sounded like he had no voice left at all, and the whole thing just got funnier the longer it went on

What really made it was the studio reaction and the interviewer not letting him off the hook. Poor lad was clearly trying his best, but every answer just made it more ridiculous

You can’t help but laugh at moments like that, even if you feel a bit bad for him. Proper football telly chaos

Fair play to him for even doing the interview when he sounded completely gone, because most lads would have tried to duck out and nobody would have blamed him. The studio cutting back and everybody losing it was probably the funniest bit, but then I kept thinking about how these post match interviews always turn into a weird little endurance test. One minute its about the game, next minute its basically a man with no voice being asked to carry the whole broadcast on his back. Also the whole thing had that classic football telly energy where the presenters are trying not to laugh while the player is just standing there like a bloke who has been shouting in a pub garden for six hours, and somehow that makes it even better

It was genuinely funny, but you could also see why he was struggling. The interviewer kept pressing on when he clearly had nothing left in the tank. Still, it made for a memorable moment and the studio reaction sold it.

He was clearly exhausted and had no voice left. The interview became funny because of how obviously he was struggling.

the whole thing was like he had gone full panto mode and the interviewer just kept feeding him more lines like let the bloke breathe for a second the man cant project over a whisper let alone answer a third question after whatever he was doing before

The thing that annoyed me was the interviewer just not reading the room at all like you can hear the man has got nothing left and instead of wrapping it up he keeps firing in another question like its some sort of hostage situation and then people wonder why players look fed up with these interviews in the first place because it is always the same overlong nonsense where they have just finished a massive emotional moment and then have to stand there croaking into a mic while some bloke in a suit acts like he is owed a full press conference and the whole broadcast team are sitting there creasing like its the funniest thing in the world when really they are the ones making it weird by dragging it out ffs

I dont think it was that deep tbh he was clearly just trying to make a bit of content and Kane was game enough to answer even without a voice the whole thing was funny because it was so awkward not because anyone was being malicious

I had to pause it because I was laughing too much and my mate thought I was watching something serious the way his voice kept cracking was ridiculous and the studio losing it made me lose it as well
