Liverpool agree Barcola deal

Genuinely cant tell if I should be excited or sick, because on one hand this is the kind of move you expect from a club trying to stay at the top and on the other hand the number is so silly it feels like a prank. My head says quality, my stomach says what the hell are we doing
 
From a tactical point of view, Barcola gives Liverpool something a little different on the ball. He looks like the sort of wide player who can carry possession at speed, create advantages in transition and still stay involved when teams sit deep. That kind of profile can be worth paying for if the system is built around it.
 
The referees and officials dont even get blamed enough when the whole football economy ends up like this because every decision, every market move, every auction style bidding war feeds into the same nonsense and then clubs act shocked when one winger costs a fortune and fans are expected to nod along like its perfectly rational, the sport is being priced out of normality and the people in charge just keep smiling through it all while supporters are left arguing over whether a player is a bargain at 100m or 135m which is completely mental
