The interesting part is not just the goal itself, it is how quickly Madrid can turn a scrappy game into chaos once the pressure builds. Espi getting the winner will be the headline, and fair enough, but the broader issue is that this side still looks like it can be messy in the middle and then suddenly lethal at the end, which is exactly why people never fully relax against them, and honestly it is exhausting watching the same script keep happening because you know there will be a replay, a debate, a meltdown and about fifty people insisting this proves something profound about mentality when half the time it just feels like football being football and Madrid being Madrid and everyone else having to sit through it again and again and again
 
can see why madrid fans are buzzing but it still feels like they got bailed out again and espanyol will be fuming after that late finish because it was all looking pretty steady until the end
 
nah i dont buy the idea that this was just madrid being inevitable they looked a bit all over the place and espanyol had every right to think they could get something until that late moment

I swear every time Madrid get into one of these games the whole thing turns into the same emotional rollercoaster where they look awkward, they look rushed, someone says the midfield is terrible, someone else says Mbappe is unreal, then suddenly there is one moment and the entire thread explodes like the laws of football have been rewritten and it is just exhausting because you know the exact same people will be back next week saying the exact same things while Madrid somehow keep getting the last laugh and honestly if you support anyone else it just feels like being slowly driven insane by the universe because how many times can one club do this before it stops feeling like luck and starts feeling like a scam
