Mainoo sends United wild

I was in the pub when the goal went in and the place just exploded because half the room were United lads and the other half were trying to pretend they were not watching, one bloke actually spilled his drink and just kept shouting Mainoo like he knew him personally, and then everyone started arguing about whether he should have been playing more anyway and this older fella at the bar goes ive seen enough football to know a lad with that kind of moment is going to get a statue one day which is obviously nonsense but the mood was that kind of mad where every sentence becomes bigger than it should be and nobody wants the night to end because the energy is just absolutely flying
 
This is exactly the sort of moment that changes how people talk about a player, because Mainoo does not just score there, he drags the whole game into a different place and forces everyone to react, and for United that is massive because the belief comes back instantly, but Liverpool have to be wondering how they keep letting these moments slip through, they are making it too easy at crucial times and the frustration is just building and building and you can feel it even through the screen now because the crowd is up, the bench is up, everybody is up and the whole thing has gone properly feral
