Mourinho back at Real Madrid

If you are backing Real Madrid here, I get it, because Mourinho can absolutely give a team a spine and make them ruthless again, and sometimes that is exactly what a big club needs when things feel too soft. But people need to stop pretending the downside does not exist, because if the dressing room gets awkward or the results wobble then it becomes a full-on siege mentality mess and suddenly every week is about fallout, blame and public digs and you are left wondering why anyone thought this was calm in the first place, still though I cannot lie I would watch every second of it because the drama is going to be ridiculous
 
The appointment makes sense if the club want control and a clear identity quickly, because Mourinho usually gives you that. After that, though, it becomes a question of whether the environment can handle the fallout when things get tense, and with Real Madrid that is never a small issue because everyone there seems to have an opinion on everything and then somehow the discussion always ends up about something else entirely, like the board, the press, or which player looked unhappy in the tunnel, which is why this could be brilliant and unbearable at the same time
 
he will probably set them up compact and nasty and then the whole league will moan when they start winning ugly again because thats what mourinho does and people hate it when it works
 
This is the kind of appointment that instantly changes the mood around a club because Mourinho brings certainty, edge and a massive spotlight, and for a team like Real Madrid that can be exactly the point. But you just know the moment things go slightly wrong the whole place will start buzzing with tension and people will be arguing over every comment, every selection, every rumour, and then it becomes one of those situations where everyone is pretending to be above the drama while absolutely loving the drama, which is why this feels both brilliant and completely unhinged and i cant wait to see the chaos because it is going to be absolutely mental
