Jose Mourinho telling Vini to listen to the Bernabeu applause is exactly the kind of daft little moment that reminds you why people still click on him every time. The man has never been short of aura, and when he is in this sort of mood it feels like he can turn a routine sub into a proper scene.

There is a lot of nostalgia mixed in with it too, because plenty of fans still have a soft spot for Jose despite everything that came after. Whether you rate him or not, he knows how to manage a star and he knows how to work a crowd, and this felt very much like one of those Mourinho moments.

At the same time, it is hard not to wonder how long the good vibes last with him. But right now it is all about the mood, the charisma, and the fact that he somehow still dominates the conversation whenever he is near a big club.
 
Mourinho just standing there soaking up the whole Bernabeu like he owns the place and honestly he probably thinks he does, absolute menace behaviour and the best part is everyone else just has to watch him do it
 
People keep acting like Mourinho is some washed old nostalgia act but the way he handles Vini is exactly why he has always been different, he knows when to push, when to calm things down and when to let the crowd do the work, and you can see why players still respond to him because he makes every little moment feel massive, meanwhile half these modern managers look like they are reading from a spreadsheet, Jose just points at the stands and suddenly it becomes a whole event, people can moan about his football all they want but the man still has presence that most coaches could only dream of, and Vini getting that applause with Jose orchestrating it is proper class if you ask me, not every boss can do that and not every player gets that kind of treatment, he is still levels above the usual bland PR manager nonsense
 
I love little moments like this because they remind you football is still about emotion and not just systems and graphics. Mourinho has always understood that side of it and Vini clearly feeds off that energy, so the whole thing just felt proper natural to me and a bit old school in the best way
 
People saying he is just a toxic dinosaur are missing the point a bit, because whatever you think of his style he still gets players and crowds invested in him, and that matters more than people admit when the pressure is on
 
I do not care what anyone says, the other side are getting absolutely dragged through the mud by this whole Mourinho thing and it is not even because of some miracle tactic or random hype, it is because he gives structure and belief and people actually know what they are doing for once, you can see the players respond to him and that is half the battle in football, everyone online loves to call him finished until he shows up at a huge club and suddenly the atmosphere changes, the dressing room changes, the whole place feels like it has a pulse again, and if that side end up winning anything then all the same people will pretend they always believed, which is the funniest part of all
