Honestly this just sounds like Pep to me, one minute it is all intensity and perfectionism and the next minute he probably feels like walking away because the whole thing has become too much, and that is exactly why he has been so successful and so exhausting at the same time, because he never does anything halfway and you can imagine the club having to talk him down constantly, which is mad when you think about it, like a football chairman basically saying he has spent years managing the manager, and that fits the whole City era so well because everything has been controlled, polished, repeated, but underneath it there has always been this feeling that the whole thing could snap if one side got fed up and honestly I wouldnt even blame him if he did finally go because after that long in one place the head must be fried, football is relentless and people forget these managers are living inside a pressure cooker every single day and then we sit here acting like its all easy just because the trophies keep coming
