Real Madrid linked with €160m Olise move

People are acting like Bayern would be powerless here but that is nonsense, they are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and if they decide Olise is part of the project then that is that, end of story, he is not some random player they picked up and flipped for profit, he is a serious part of what they are building and fans of other clubs need to stop talking as if every good player is just waiting to be rescued by Madrid, there is no shame in staying put and being the main man at a club like Bayern, in fact it is probably better than being another name in a long line at madrid and i think people are underestimating how much he can achieve there if he stays, the whole thing feels like people disrespecting Bayern just because they are not the loudest club on social media and honestly it is getting boring

i heard a lad in the pub say madrid were after him and everyone just laughed then a mate of his said bayern would tell them to do one and honestly that sounded more believable than any article ive seen, the same pub also had someone claiming rodrygo was leaving and i nearly spilled my pint, transfer season turns every normal bloke into a scout and every rumour into gospel

this is exactly the sort of rumour that gets everyone going for no reason because the number is huge and the club name is huge and the player is huge but if you actually stop and think about it for a second it makes almost no sense at all, bayern dont sell just because someone waves a ridiculous fee around, madrid dont need to make a statement signing every five minutes, and olise himself would have to look at the whole situation and wonder why he would leave a place where he is clearly valued for a move that just creates noise and pressure and all the usual nonsense that comes with being at real madrid, so yeah i am calling this one pure transfer smoke and nothing more

Madrid would likely want him to play off the right and come inside, but Bayern would be losing a major outlet if he went. The bigger issue is not just the fee, it is replacing his role in the system. That is why this feels far more like speculation than a serious plan.

I can see why Madrid would admire him, because he is clearly a top-level talent. But admiration and practicality are different things, and Bayern holding a long-term contract changes the whole conversation.
