On a tactical level it is hard to justify this move because Madrid already have enough wide options and Bayern would be removing a player who fits what they do really well. Unless something dramatic changes, this is the kind of rumour that exists because the name sounds massive rather than because the football does

The more you think about it, the less sense it makes. Bayern have no obvious reason to cash in, Madrid have no obvious reason to overpay for another winger, and Olise is clearly in a strong position where he is. But then these rumours keep coming back because people love the idea of a giant club trying to flex and a smaller narrative about someone being the next big thing. It is all very dramatic until you remember that football is still run by clubs with actual plans, and bayern are not going to sit there and hand over one of their key players just because some outlet wants clicks, so i am just rolling my eyes at the whole thing now
