Absolute madness from Sabah in the dying seconds there. A 90+4' strike to make it 3-2 on the night and 4-4 on aggregate is exactly the sort of stuff people stay up for, even if you only caught the last few minutes.

Fair play to anyone watching that live because it looked done and dusted at 90+1. The reactions in the comments say it all: banger, chaos, and a proper “get in” moment all rolled into one.

Now the big question is whether Sabah can actually finish the job after that. If they carry that energy into the next bit, this could be one of those qualifying nights people keep talking about for ages.
 
People keep acting like this is some fluke or just a lucky smash and grab but Sabah have been right there all night and you can see the fight in them even before that late goal they were not just rolling over and letting it happen, they kept pushing and kept believing and that matters more than people want to admit when they are sat there waiting to clown the underdog, Hapoel had their moments sure but when the pressure went on they couldnt keep it clean and that is football, that is why people love it, because one second you think it is done and the next it is level on aggregate and everyone is losing their mind, and honestly fair play to Sabah because they have earned that bit of chaos and if they go on from here then good on them
 
Sabah changed the game by staying brave at the end and it paid off. The late set piece routine was clever enough to create the opening, and once the ball dropped there was only one outcome.
 
A measured point first, this is exactly why cup and qualifier football is so addictive, because one moment of quality can flip the whole mood of a game and make everybody forget the previous ninety minutes, and then you end up with people refreshing scores, screaming at phones, and messaging mates like it is the end of the world. That said, I also think people massively underestimate how much these late goals come from pure emotional momentum, not just tactics, and once the crowd starts believing the players feed off it and suddenly it is all chaos and limbs and someone posting an OMG video from the stands. Also the mention of Sabah's trophy history and last year's title race stuff just makes it feel even more like one of those clubs that are somehow always in the middle of a story, which is probably why neutrals love them now even if they had never watched them before. Football is ridiculous and brilliant and annoying all at once and that is why we keep coming back to these random Tuesday nights
 
This is why people keep saying you should never switch off early because one second it looks done and the next there is a volley flying in and the whole tie is back alive, and fair play to Sabah because the belief to keep going that late is massive, especially when everyone around you has already decided the story is finished. I checked the score and thought it was dead, then suddenly there are clips and reactions everywhere and you can feel the panic through the screen, and honestly if you are Hapoel that is the sort of collapse that will haunt you for ages, because how do you let it get to 90+4 and still give up that kind of chance, it is just brutal really and people will pretend it is just one goal but you know it is more than that, it is all the little moments before it where you stop clearing lines and stop being sharp and then bang you are done and everyone is laughing and Sabah are celebrating like madmen
 
It looked like Hapoel had done enough, which makes the late equaliser on aggregate even more painful for them. Sabah deserve credit for keeping the tempo up right to the end, because a lot of sides would have accepted defeat by that point.
 
all that and some people still talk like this was some boring random game mate it was proper chaos from the start to the finish and then that finish just makes it look even more ridiculous
