I do not buy the idea that this is some desperate move or a sign that he has fallen off. It looks more like a calculated choice for a player who wants a huge role and a massive fanbase rather than a quieter final chapter, and that is fair enough even if people on here want to turn every transfer into a meme
 
people keep saying turkiye is a weird step but it aint really if you think about it he gets big crowds big pressure and probably a proper hero status instead of being another name on a list and thats worth something when youve already done the whole elite europe thing
