Was in the pub with a few mates when this came up on the screen and honestly the whole place just sort of went quiet for a second because everyone knows what a difference it makes when a senior player acts like that, there was one bloke at the bar saying if more teams had someone like that then half the nonsense in football would disappear overnight, and he was probably right because it only takes one person to stop the whole thing boiling over, I remember years ago watching a local game where two lads nearly lost it with the ref and an older player literally grabbed both of them by the shoulders and dragged them away before it kicked off and everyone in the ground respected him for it, same sort of energy here really, just simple common sense and a bit of dignity instead of all the drama
 
its mad how much people will praise the obvious stuff when a famous player does it but honestly this is what any proper footballer should be doing anyway like why are you even standing there screaming at the ref when the game is already done and dusted in that moment just get your head down and move on, the whole point is to keep some self respect and not look like youre desperate for attention and Salah gets that which is why he gets talked about like this while others just make themselves look silly and then wonder why everyone is laughing at them after
