Everyone in here acting like the ball travelled through time and space when really it was just a cracking strike that missed, absolute melodrama from the lot of you and I am loving it because football fans cannot help themselves when they see a bit of power and a late chance and suddenly it is the greatest thing they have ever witnessed
 
I am sorry but that is on the player for not burying it because when you get a chance like that at 90 plus whatever you do not just lash it and hope for the best you pick your spot and you finish the job and all this talk about the shot being unbelievable does not change the fact that it went nowhere near the net and now everyone is acting like the missing part does not matter when it absolutely does and it is exactly the kind of moment that frustrates you as a fan because the quality is there but the end product is missing and that is what people remember and it will sit there forever as the almost moment and nothing more
 
I was not even watching properly and then suddenly everyone around me started reacting like the world had ended so I rewound it and honestly I get it now because that is one of those moments that drags you in even if you missed it live and you just sit there thinking how did that not go in
