APIA Leichhardt Tigers have won three and lost two of their last five matches and are in mixed-to-poor form as they face Sydney FC NPL on Saturday in a fixture that could be closer than the odds suggest.

Sydney FC NPL are a youthful and talented side led by Jim van Weeren and they prefer to press from the front and try to win the ball higher up the pitch. Their 4-2-3-1 system has a technical edge, but it takes time to press higher up the field and work the ball around, so they are likely to find it tough going against APIA's patient build-up play.
APIA in a class of their own
The odds certainly suggest that the home side are the likeliest winners in this clash, but Sydney FC NPL are coming off two narrow wins over Sydney United 58 and SD Raiders FC, followed by a 3-2 defeat to UNSW FC. They look good value at a massive price to keep it tight.
