Single Bet

This is the most basic point in betting. A single bet is a wager on an individual event, with no other combinations or calculations. Therefore, this is where most bettors start their wagering experience.

It goes without saying that, being the most basic bet, it doesn’t really get you big profits, as long as you don’t make a very risky pick.

Accumulator

Often referred to as a parley, an accumulator is a bet with more than one selection, where the wager has to win all the chosen events in order to get a winning bet.

Furthermore, unlike the single bet, the accumulator can bring you hefty profits, especially considering the fact that you can place many events in the calculation.

The odds for every single event that you place in the accumulator will combine, giving you a chance to win a major profit.

Full Cover Bet

This is where it gets a little bit tricky. This part of betting is split off, due to the multiple combinations you can use, with a complete breakdown being available in this article. Furthermore, in order to ease the process, a glossary of these terms has been created, so bettors can identify them better and use them at their best capacities.

We are going to take them one by one, with some explanation for every one of them.

Before that, we should take a look at how a full cover bet works, and how we can take advantage of this type of betting.

Basically, a full-cover bet relies on a combination of events. These combinations can be doubles, trebles. fourfolds, fivefolds, and so on.

If these terms seem odd to you, consider them as separate accumulators. For example, a double might be considered an accumulator with two events.

In case that you are going to some of the accumulators from the full-cover bet, the odds for that accumulator are going to be subtracted from the final odds, giving you a smaller profit.  It goes without saying that the best-case scenario for a full-cover bet is to win all the events present in the wager.

Now, that we settled this, let’s take a look at the different types of full-cover bets:

Trixie

The Trixie is the easiest type of full-cover bets. It includes three selections and consists of four separate bets:

  • Three doubles

  • One treble

For a Trixie full cover bet to win, a minimum of two selections have to win in order to gain a return.

Yankee

This type of full-cover bet has four selections and consists of 11 separate bets. They are divided as follows:

  • 6 doubles

  • 4 trebles

  • one fourfold

Just like the previous full-cover betting type, a minimum of two selections out of those 11 placed have to be accurate in order to generate any return.

Canadian (Super Yankee)

The following full-cover bet is called a Canadian, but it can also be referred to as a Super Yankee. Now, this is the first one that includes a lot of selections, so it might seem a little more difficult to understand.

Nonetheless, starting with the Canadian full-cover betting type, we are going to see how you can generate a bigger profit with more risk involved.

The Canadian has five selections including 26 separate bets. They are divided as follows:

  • 10 doubles

  • 10 trebles

  • 5 fourfolds

  • one fivefold

It goes without saying that at least two selections have to be accurate in order to generate a return. Besides this, from now on, the minimum of two selections will remain, but the amount that it will generate will be lower and lower, considering the rise in selections.

Heinz

This next wager consists of 57 separate bets. These selections are divided as follows:

  • 15 doubles

  • 20 trebles

  • 15 fourfolds

  • 6 fivefolds

  • one sixfold

Super Heinz

The Super Heinz full-cover betting type has seven selections and includes 120 separate bets. They are divided as follows:

  • 21 doubles

  • 35 trebles

  • 35 fourfolds

  • 21 fivefolds

  • 7 sixfolds

  • one sevenfold accumulator

Goliath

This is the most complex full-cover betting type, having eight selections. These are divided in 257 separate bets, as follows:

  • 28 doubles

  • 56 trebles

  • 70 fourfolds

  • 56 fivefolds

  • 28 sixfolds

  • 8 sevenfolds

  • one eightfold

As mentioned previously, the full-cover bets can look tough at first. Despite this, after some exercise, many bettors are keen on continuing using them, as it has a couple of clear advantages.

First of all, you have a lot more chances to make some money. Many times, despite losing the most out of your full-cover bet, you are still going to be able to get a small amount of money, close to your initial stake.

On the other hand, the fact that the risks are lower can make many bettors invest more in these bets. Winning some of your selections, depending on the variation, can get you a hefty profit.

Full Cover Bets with Singles

This type of bet can be considered a niche of the full-cover one. The main point of difference is the fact that here, you are going to have to choose some events from the whole bet that can not be lost. Therefore, we will see that they are identical with the former discussed ones, with the difference that these one include singles.

As you might have seen, we discussed what a single bet is earlier in the article.

These are the main types of full-cover bets with singles:

Patent

Patent is, just as Trixie, the most basic type of full-cover bets with singles. The distribution of the separate bets are identical to Trixie, with the difference being that it also has three plus singles. One winning selection will get you a return.

Lucky 15

The second type it’s the equivalent of Yankee plus 4 singles. It has four selections and 15 separate bets: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a fourfold accumulator.

Lucky 31

This type of full-cover bet with singles it’s the equivalent of Canadian, with five extra singles. One winning selection will also guarantee you a certain amount of money.

Lucky 63

The final type of full-cover bet with singles it’s a wager on six selections with 63 separate bets. They are divided as follows:

  • 6 singles

  • 15 doubles

  • 20 trebles

  • 15 fourfolds

  • 6 fivefolds

  • one sixfold

Speciality Bets: Union Jack

Apart from the classic bets that you can try, there is another interesting one that we think might be worth a shot.

It can be seen as one of the hardest types of bets there are, but the profits that it can produce are hefty. Let’s take a look at the Union Jack bet:

First of all, the Union Jack name doesn’t help you to figure out any details. Therefore, we are going to have to explain it in a concise way: The Union Jack is a bet with 9 selections, placed on a table, arranged three by three. Also, it contains eight trebles.

For the sake of the explanation, let’s imagine that our selections are A to I. In this case, our table will look like this:

A

B

C

D

E

F

G

H

I

As you can see, the eight trebles are divided as follows:

  • ABC, DEF, GHI - Horizontally

  • ADG, BEH, CFI - Vertically

  • AEI, CEG - Diagonally

Now, the most important aspect of the Union Jack is that all three selections from one of these trebles have to be won in order to get a certain amount of money. You can get in a lot of scenarios in which, despite winning a lot of selections, you will still not get any return due to the fact that the trebles are not met. Let’s see an example:

A

B

C

D

E

F

G

H

I

In this case, despite winning selections A, B, E, F, G, the bettor did not achieve any treble.
