Beşiktaş have come out of the blocks in a big way under Vincenzo Italiano, six wins from six and not a goal conceded. That is the sort of start that gets people talking properly, even if it is still early days.

The comments in the thread are half praise, half chaos, which is about right for football discourse. Some are already calling him a future national coach, others are making the usual bald fraud jokes, and a few are just admiring how ridiculous the run looks.

There is also the obvious question now: is this a real statement of intent, or just one of those mad early-season runs before the cracks show? Either way, it has got people paying attention.

On paper this is exactly the sort of start any club would want from a new coach, six wins, clean sheets everywhere, momentum, confidence, the lot. You can see why people are getting carried away and talking about him like he is some kind of saviour, because results like that do not happen by accident. But then football always does this thing where it lets you build a whole myth in two weeks and then kicks you in the teeth the moment someone finds a weakness. Still, if you are Beşiktaş you have to enjoy it while it lasts and not apologise for being good, because the league is full of clubs who would kill for that kind of balance and control. And honestly the comments calling him a bald fraud already are peak football internet, people cannot even let a manager breathe before they start the nonsense, absolute state of it
 
That is an excellent start, but the sample size is still tiny. If they keep the defensive record going for another month, then the hype will make a lot more sense.
 
He has clearly got them organised and confident, which is more than you can say for plenty of new appointments. Still, the red cards in four of the six games make it feel a bit chaotic underneath the shiny record, imo
 
people in here acting like hes some tactical god because theyve gone six unbeaten with no goals conceded but wait until one bad result and suddenly the exact same lot will be calling him a fraud and asking why he was ever compared to anyone serious
 
The clean sheets are the headline, but the red cards suggest there is still some messiness in the performances. If he can tighten that up and keep the structure, Beşiktaş could be in a very strong position.
 
It is a very impressive run and I do think people are right to notice it, because six wins without conceding is not something you stumble into by luck alone. The manager has obviously got the group buying in and that matters, especially early on when everyone is still figuring out roles and habits. But the comments about him being the next great coach or the bald fraud heir are exactly how football fans behave now, one week you are the messiah and the next you are a meme. If they add a couple of useful players for depth like someone said then maybe this can turn into a proper season rather than just a hot start, and you can already imagine the noise if they keep it going. Still, the red cards are a bit of a warning sign and if that becomes a pattern then all this praise will look very silly very fast, which is why I am trying not to get too carried away even though the run is obviously impressive
