Absolutely horrible scenes tonight. Seeing Christian Eriksen collapse again straight after the old fears from EURO 2020 is the kind of thing that makes football feel completely irrelevant for a moment.
The good news, thankfully, is that the latest updates say he is conscious and doing well under the circumstances. The match has been called off, and at this point the only thing that matters is his health and whatever comes next for him and his family.
It does make you think this may be the moment for a serious conversation about whether he should carry on playing at all. Whatever happens, he has already given the game so much, and nobody would blame him for putting life first.
