A lot of the debate will come down to how much weight you give to team context versus individual output. From a pure tactical perspective, Kane is still doing the hardest part at an elite level: finding space, timing his runs, and finishing consistently.
 
not gonna lie i sat there reading the number and just laughed because it sounds fake and then you remember its harry kane and it somehow makes sense and i hate how calm he makes ridiculous stuff look
 
bayern fans must be having the time of their lives right now and the rest of europe is just sat there watching kane rack up numbers like its nothing while everyone else argues about whether it counts or not which is exactly the kind of nonsense football brings out every single time someone does something historic lol
 
It is funny how every time a striker has a monster season the same arguments come out and people suddenly become historians, tacticians and accountants all at once because they want to tell you why it should or should not count and with Kane it is even worse because the number is so huge that everyone is scrambling for a way to make themselves sound clever while ignoring the obvious which is that the bloke has scored a ridiculous amount of goals and no amount of league snobbery changes that and if he keeps going like this then the whole conversation about best striker in the world is going to get louder and louder and honestly good because he has earned that level of noise
