Fair play to LASK, that is some turnaround and a proper statement win. They were written off after the first leg and still found a way to come back hard when it mattered most.

Celtic will be kicking themselves after letting that slip, because a 4-0 lead should never end like this. It is a brutal result for Scottish football as well, and you can already imagine the banter flying around after this one.

At the same time, you have to give LASK credit for the pressure they put on and the way they kept going. First time in their history in the Champions League is a huge moment for them, and they earned it the hard way.

I was in the pub for this and the whole place just went from laughing at the scoreline to absolute silence when it started turning i had one lad next to me saying it was done after the first leg and then every time LASK kept pushing the mood got worse and worse for the Celtic lads in there by the end even the neutral fans were just looking at each other like what have we just watched football does that sometimes where you think its dead and buried and then it all goes completely mental and you end up hearing about it for years after

fair play to lask they just kept going at celtic and never let them settle at all and once the pressure built you could see the heads go down a bit it was one of those nights where the underdog looks more organised and hungrier from the start and then the favourite just starts panicking

the big thing for me is how high lask kept the tempo and how celtic never really found a way to slow it down when a team is that aggressive and the first pass out is shaky it just invites wave after wave of pressure and then the whole thing becomes chaos rather than control

Everyone is acting like Celtic have committed some unforgivable crime here but LASK were outstanding and that matters as much as the collapse narrative if not more because people keep ignoring what the winning team actually did they pressed with real purpose they kept forcing mistakes they never allowed Celtic to just pass their way out of trouble and that takes serious discipline from a side that was supposedly the underdog and supposedly out of it after the first leg and yes Celtic will be furious and yes the scoreline looks humiliating but you cannot just reduce it to one team being rubbish when the other team clearly had a plan and executed it over the tie and honestly the fact they came back from that position makes it even more impressive and people should be talking about how good LASK were instead of just clowning Celtic all day because they earned this and I am sick of the lazy takes already

LASK looked far more aggressive without the ball and that changed the tie. Celtic could not build any rhythm because every pass seemed under pressure, and once the game turned emotional the Austrian side were better equipped to handle it.
