Liverpool are somehow making a right mess of a season that keeps throwing up grim new numbers. 19 losses and 52 league goals conceded is a brutal look for a club of that size, and it feels like every week there’s another unwanted record getting parked on top of the pile.

The funniest bit is the split reaction already starting over Slot, with some saying give him more time and others acting like the exit door should be open now. Fair to say the mood is not exactly calm, and even the people defending him are having to lean on vibes more than results

Either way, this is a proper shambles for a side that should be nowhere near these kinds of numbers, and it’s going to be interesting to see whether the club back him, bin him, or just keep pretending this is fine
