A Bulls blitz should be on the cards
Bulls Northbridge FC Academy (W) arrive for their latest clash with Sydney University FC (W) fresh off the back of four straight wins across all competitions, including a 5-3 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers, a 4-1 demolition of Illawarra Stingrays and back-to-back 1-0 successes in the league.
They have a goal glut of options up front, with Olivia Vanderlaan their livewire up top. The goal poacher is always a threat in the box and comes into this game. Behind her, Isabella Coco-Di Sipio and Tamires Souza add more bite and they are all fed by Marti Garces' fast, wide and direct game model.
Sydney University FC (W) sit some way off the pace at eighth in the NPL NSW Women's 2026 table, with 30 points from 22 matches leaving them chasing the pack.
They have the tools to punch above their weight though, as the 6-0 thrashing of NWS Spirit demonstrated in late May and their run of draws that kept them in touch, which saw them cling on to the pack.
Sydney Uni will have the set-pieces to keep it respectable
The game model employed by Xavier Taylor is to set the team up in a compact and disciplined structure and absorb pressure before blocking the middle of the field and looking to release their talented forwards when the ball turns over.
