Slovan are the sharpest of the pair
Yaya Touré has really shaped Slovan Bratislava since taking over as head coach in June 2026 and his team come to France in much better form than the hosts, with seven wins, one draw and only two defeats in their last 10 games in all competitions.
The last two have been the setbacks with an 0-8 cup defeat at TJ Slovan Nitra-Chrenova following a 0-2 league defeat at DAC Dunajska, but Slovan are capable of playing fast, attacking football on the front foot.
Andraž Šporar is their focal point and the club's preference for long, direct balls into the tall, physical striker or over the top of opposing defences can make them dangerous on the counter, particularly if they can score first.
Open game looks most likely
Luis Enrique has been PSG's head coach since July 2023 and his side still seems set up to play with the ball, overloading the middle third and pressing hard when out of it. It's unlikely that we'll see a defensive display of any kind with two teams wanting to be on the ball, which could suit Slovan.
Paris Saint-Germain are yet to get going in the French domestic season with three wins, three draws and four defeats in their last 10 in all competitions and they will need to be at their best to overcome this in-form and sharp Slovan outfit.
Both teams should get on the scoresheet
PSG's last five in all competitions reads one win, two draws and two defeats, with the two most recent being 2-2 draws at Stade Rennes and Lille before a 1-2 home defeat to Monaco in Ligue 1 2026/2027. The game could easily be end-to-end on Wednesday with PSG looking to control it and Slovan ready to take them on at any time.
Marquinhos has been PSG's most prolific player with two of their six goals in the last five games, but Belasí will fancy they can get on the end of at least one of their chances while PSG can still get breached. Both teams to score - Yes is a good pick at 2.4 here and Over 2.5 goals looks good at 1.18, but the value selection is an away win in what is likely to be an open game.
