Getafe are 15th in the LaLiga 2026/2027 table with three points from three games, while Deportivo A Coruna are flying in fourth spot with eight points from four matches, so it looks like a real banana skin for the Azulones at the Coliseum on Sunday.
Pepe Bordalás has made his 4-4-2 system work in the sense that it makes Getafe very hard to beat. Getafe are compact, direct and tough to break through with an abundance of duels and rapid counter-attacks. Enes Unal is the key player in the second forward line and is currently the team's top scorer in the league with one goal in three appearances, having bagged two of Geta's four goals across their last five.
Deportivo A Coruna's Antonio Hidalgo has his side building from the back and playing a more structured 4-2-3-1, they are more proactive in their pressing and can cause problems with their vertical combinations. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the main threat, with four LaLiga 2026/2027 goals in four appearances, and two goals in Dépor's last five-game surge that saw them win 3-1 at home to Valencia CF and 3-2 away at Villarreal CF.
Geta to grind it out

We think Getafe will grind it out and edge this one, but under 2.5 goals at 1.38 seems a much better play. Bordalás' rigid tactical game plan should clash heavily with Dépor's structured possession style and this should be a game of chess.
