- Borac have the better recent form with 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 matches, while Levski have 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat in the same spell.

Balkan blues make for a tough call
PFC Levski Sofia and FK Borac Banjaluka are in a tight head-to-head race in the UEFA Champions League Qualification 2026 after last week's 1-1 draw in the opening leg and this Tuesday's clash in Bulgaria should be another tense and tactical affair.
Julio Velazquez has made a real impression on Levski since taking over in January 2025, turning the blue and whites into a possession-based team which likes to control games and probe for openings through a midfield rotation and overloads wide.
Velazquez usually lines-up in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation and his side keep the ball well and have good quality in the final third. Levski don't look like the type of team to blow games open, but they're the more likely side to nick a goal on Tuesday with their superior possession, movement and quality.
Vinko Marinovic has made Borac a very different prospect since taking over in July 2025. His side are a compact and disciplined counterpunching outfit which sit deep, keep their shape and strike fast in transition or from set pieces when the opposition lose the ball.
The visitors tend to play a narrow 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 formation and will attempt to suffocate Levski in the midfield and force them to make mistakes.
First-leg score-line suggests another close contest
PFC Levski Sofia are the narrow favourites here at 1.83, but FK Borac Banjaluka are no pushovers at 4.35 and the draw is still 3.3, so this market leans towards the hosts but not by a landslide.
That's largely due to Borac's form, which has seen them unbeaten in their last 10 in all competitions with six wins and four draws, compared to Levski's slightly more stop-start run of four wins, five draws and one defeat.
Borac's last five is 3-2-0 (W/D/L) and includes a 0-0 draw at Radnik Bijeljina and a 2-0 home win over NK Posusje in the Premier Liga 2025/2026, plus the 1-1 draw with Levski.
Levski's last five is 1-3-1 (W/D/L) and comprises a 2-0 home win over PFC CSKA Sofia in the Parva Liga Championship Group 2026, a 0-0 away draw with FC CSKA 1948 and a 1-1 draw with Borac in UEFA Champions League Qualification 2026.
In addition to the first-leg result, all of the above points to a closely fought game, with under 2.5 goals the obvious play at 1.6 and BTTS-No coming in at a close 1.7.
A 1-0 win at home looks the most likely result, but we'd rather take the insurance option of another draw in 90 minutes and a potential extra-time winner for Levski.
Juan Perea has scored two goals in Levski's last 5-game run, which is half of their total four strikes during that spell, while Luka Juricic has scored three of Borac's goals in their most recent five matches.
