It’s a little surprising to see Ayr as the top choice here, given they sit eighth in the Championship 2025/2026 with 35 points from 30 games, while Neil Lennon’s side are fourth with 40 points from 29.
The Pars come into this with much better form behind them and will be a tough nut to crack on Tuesday, so the draw looks a viable option. Dunfermline have won five, drawn three and lost six of their 14 Championship 2025/2026 away matches to date and are averaging 1.50 scored per-game on the road.
