- Dundee are unbeaten in their last 3 home games (Won 1, drawn 2).
- Kilmarnock are 11th in the Premiership 2026/2027 with 8 points from 9 games.
- Kilmarnock's away record in the current Premiership 2026/2027 season is 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats from 4 matches.
Dark Blues a bit too canny to miss
Dundee FC could be a big threat in this year's Premiership 2026/2027 race if they maintain their early-season progress which has them sitting fourth in the table with 14 points from 9 matches.
Steven Pressley has done a brilliant job at the helm since taking over on 2 June 2025, using his own high-octane, direct approach to build a team that can press and counter-attack with the best of them.
Pressley's men will try to play direct, low-possession football but are always going to be a team that hits the game straight back and hits the target with their set pieces, which makes them very difficult to deal with.
Kilmarnock are a compact, transition-based side that make good use of their width and aerial power in Neil McCann's team, which has been in place since 6 January 2026.
Killie can cause problems
Kilmarnock come to the Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park needing a lift after taking only 8 points from their first nine matches. They are currently 11th in the league and could be in danger of being sucked into a relegation battle if things don't improve soon.
The Ayrshire club have won two, drawn one and lost two in their last five in all competitions and the last two games have been quite different in character - a 3-1 away defeat to Rangers followed by a 3-2 home win over Motherwell.
So the mood swing in that camp has been real and Kilmarnock should bring plenty of energy to this clash too, even if it isn't usually on paper.
Dens Park is no picnic
Killie's away form of one win and one defeat from their last two road matches tells you that they won't roll over if they fall behind and that Dundee will have to work for their victory here.
Killie's goal threat has been a problem for most of the season, but Greg Kiltie has given them a lift with 2 goals in the past 5 games during a period when the club have scored 6 in that spell.
Dundee's top goalscorer is Joe Westley with 3 in the opening 7 Premiership 2026/2027 games, while Bradley Fink has chipped in with 3 of their 8 goals in the previous five matches.
Dundee are the 9/10 favourites ahead of Kilmarnock at 51/20 with the draw available at 14/5, and it's hard to go against the home side on those terms given they are in much better form.
But we'll take the visitors in the double chance market as Dundee are too short and McCann's men have had their moments on the road this term.
Dark Blues don’t do possession games
The alternative selection of Both Teams To Score - Yes at 57/100 seems appealing in this spot as the clash of Dundee's direct and Pressley-inspired style of play with Killie's more structured approach could keep this end-to-end.
Although we're going with Dundee to edge it because Killie's 1.25 goals scored and 1.75 goals conceded away in the Premiership is not as good as Dundee's 1.60 scored and 1.20 conceded at home.
