Jagiellonia’s goals and tempo can match Rangers
Jagiellonia Białystok travel to Ibrox Stadium on Thursday night in fine form as they bid to back up their 2-1 home win over Rangers in UEFA Europa League Qualification 2026.
The Polish side have won their last five matches, including three wins and a draw in their last four away matches, and have ripped through their previous 10 games with eight wins, one draw and one defeat. They come here in good shape and their recent results have them sitting just behind Rangers in the market, although the Gers are the slight favourites at 18/25, compared to 37/10 for Jagiellonia and 53/20 for the draw.
Rangers' form isn't quite as convincing as the hosts'.
Rangers will look to strike in transition
Derek McInnes has set them up to be a compact, results-first team that is disciplined defensively and dangerous on the break, usually striking in transition. Youssef Chermiti has been their sharpest edge, netting three goals in five games in a side that has scored eight.
Jagiellonia are a different kettle of fish. This could be a tense, tactical battle with Rangers looking to catch Jagiellonia out on the counter and Jagiellonia trying to pin the Scottish giants back and work them out of their shape. The goal odds reflect the feeling that this match could open up quickly, with Over 2.5 at 3/4 and Both Teams To Score Yes at 7/10, but the likeliest play seems to be to take Rangers, at a very short price, to just edge it or, perhaps, for the two teams to play out a tense, tight draw.
